Cheroenhaka Wetland Mitigation/Stream Restoration: This project, completed in 2010 and located in Southampton County, was a wetland mitigation area for a private developer to be sold as wetland credits. Erosion Control Services seeded approximately 50 acres of compensatory mitigation ponds and cells, as well as over 5,000 linear feet of stream restoration. A mixture of riparian grasses and wetland seeds/flowers were used to complete this task. We were also responsible for more than 6,000 square yards of erosion control blankets on the compensatory mitigation ponds.
